Strong safety-management systems and safety awareness are crucial to ensure safer working conditions, mitigate risks, and protect workers.
Safety trainings delivered by LABS’ associated firms aim to ensure all safety-committee members (including management and workers) increase their awareness of safety hazards, establish safety-management systems and work collaboratively in monitoring, identifying, and improving workplace safety.
A full-day training covers information on different hazards, evacuation protocols, safety issues, detection and remediation, establishing effective safety-management systems, and live-demonstration tours to identify issues.
LABS Safety Trainings are based on the Training of Trainer (ToT) approach. Factories incorporate these trainings into their own internal training modules and impart the trainings as per the ToT model. Trainings provide workers the ability to realize the importance of risk mitigation while ensuring gender-based inclusivity for all factory workers.
