The global outbreak of COVID-19 is impacting us all. Amidst this, as LABS, it is our priority to safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone involved in the program. As we work to respond to the impact of this pandemic, we are also looking at how to implement and possibly adapt the program in the coming months. At this point in time, this means pressing pause on a number of activities at factories. We are continuously monitoring this situation and how it evolves every day. We stay committed to our work to promote safer working conditions in apparel and footwear factories and will continue to engage with our partners to reflect on the work done in past months and prepare an action plan for the future, as we work together to weather this storm.

During Q2 of 2021, the LABS program saw the 200th factory enter the program. We are thankful for the good collaboration from all sides that made this possible and are keen to move well beyond this milestone, in order to help make safe as many factories as possible. Thank you for being a part of this journey, and for helping us move far beyond this number in the future.
