Stakeholder Engagements

Stakeholder engagements are done across operational countries to drive joint industry commitment towards safety and embed long-term local and national ownership.

 

  • An MoU has been signed between LABS and Jakarta Disaster Management Authority (DKI) to support them in development and enhancement of building assessment module through adaptation of relevant sections of LABS Standards.

 

  • Technical guidance on fire safety assessment and toolbox added on official website of Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (LEFASO) and Vietnam Textile and Garment Association (VITAS)
  • LABS collaborated with the Ministry of Construction (MOC) in Vietnam to develop. Technical guideline for Inspection and Assessment of Fire Safety Conditions of garment and footwear industrial factories’ in the country. The fire safety assessment methodology of LABS has been accepted and incorporated within this guideline
