Since its inception, LABS Initiative has been at the forefront of driving safety transformation in the apparel, footwear, accessories, and home textiles sectors. 2025 was a year of consolidation and expansion for the Initiative. Building on the strong foundation of previous years, LABS deepened its country programs, broadened engagement with brands and factories, and strengthened partnerships that will shape the future of safety governance in the manufacturing sector.
Through consistent collaboration between global and local stakeholders, the program demonstrated how collective commitment can lead to measurable impact – from improved compliance rates and worker safety to stronger institutional partnerships and increased visibility at the policy level.
